Description
This is a quick piece (it took me about 3 hours) that I did for my daughter's Career Day poster. She has been taking dance lessons for a couple of years now & wants to be a dance teacher and own her own studio. So I offered to make her a ballerina for her poster.
This was a learning experience for both of us. She looked through my content thumbnails to find what she wanted. I finally *on my own* successfully made custom shaders for the tutu and choker and played with the spotlight. I also discovered that the spotlight has this target on the floor plane so I can position the model under it! The lighting and especially that shadow are far from perfect. But like the custom shaders, it was the first time I worked with them totally on my own, without Spacer_01 talking me through them.

Nice work! I really think you did an awesome job on this - the lighting still looks really good, better than what Daz Studio ever did. Your shader work looks good to me. I'll have to show you how to set / change the shaders on items that only have 1 material zone , if/when there isn't any shading domains listed... So yeah, working and playing with shaders can be really fun. They're pretty easy once you get more familiar with tinkering in the shader channels.

What a great idea and it turned out so beautifully. It WOULD make a superb poster. How fun to create with your daughter. Excellent!! I love it.
