Description
A kitten's lament
I spied upon a summer's night
Something that gave me quite a fright
It was in the grounds of the haunted house
I found myself after chasing a mouse.
There before me a sorceress cast a spell,
which was upon a poor cat who had not done well.
It was her who had asked him to catch a rat
He didn't, so she cast her spells upon him, and that was that ... :o(
Went for the ultrasound today but will not know the outcome for a couple of weeks and after the next procedure what exactly is going on, so another worrying wait. Good job I got the art as I am burying myself in it just now to keep my mind busy lol, and seem to be filling up the store too lol.

Sis, you are simply amazing and this is one of the most fantastic images I've ever seen. Your background is so detailed and provides that eerie feeling it's just right for this image. I feel sad for the little kitten and hope something can be done to help him. Keeping you in my prayers during this time and hope the test results come back great

A wonderful image Jane and your poem has really made me chuckle. I love how you have the little cat perched on these rocks even though he doesn't look so happy. An excellent background to really set this scene off. Art is such a good way of stopping you thinking too much about those results.

Wonderful artwork Jane. The expressions on both the cat and the sorceress are fantastic. Regardless of the poem, it doesn't look like she is punishing her feline companion, but she IS casting a spell and he does not look happy for some reason. 10* Hope everything goes alright with your exam.
