Description

Are you feelin' groovey? Or maybe just ba ... ba ... bad to the bone? This is a retro image I did for a client a while back. Makes me remember my days of motorcycle riding and racing about a million years (and bruises) ago. Hope you enjoy. :o) CC Fine Art Specialty Store Website

it's almost like a ghost-rider or spirit-rider, and the bike seems almost enveloped by the flower-field in which it sits. Wonderfully stylized flowers, the bike seems an oil painting (it undulates and heaves the way oils do), the moon & sky are ghostly & beautiful, and the flag---a real symbol of bikers and that whole time back then---is present but not overbearing. Even your grasses have that ghostly white in them, like the whole scene is an apparition or dream. Beautiful work, Carol, and very finely realized, as all of your work is. And the 'spirit' feeling is very familiar to all who know your art.
