Description
Prince Leto and his armed body guard, Lieutenant Dunnbar, have just beamed aboard a Federation starShip. The emperor of the planet below, and only just in the first stages of experimental warp drive spacecraft, requested Federation assistance to find some missing spaceships and their crews. Three of the planet's new secret military space craft have disappeared in the past few months with no sign of survivors. The most recent sent a distress signal just before vanishing. The location of the transmission was determined just before it cut off.
Fearing he will lose more of his men, the Emperor has requested assistance from the Federation for help in solving these mysterious disappearances. He wants his oldest son to accompany this investigative mission so he can begin to learn some of the skills he will need someday if he should become the next emperor.
Lieutenant Dax Dunnbar, an independant military contractor (That Reads, Soldier of Fortune), has been hired by the Emperor to accompany his son on this mission and be his bodyguard and tutor. He has been instructed to give young Leto additional lessons in hand-to-hand fighting and any other areas of expertise the Lieutenant feels might be helpful to the young prince's character development.
