A pleasing composition, with nice lighting, my friend. Good choice of subject and shape to test the strengths of the render engine. Bravo! Some years ago, I had to refurbish a resin statue mounted on stone in a garden, and started, after cleaning it up, by giving it a few coats of a mix of white acrylic primer and acrylic varnish. It looked quite a bit like this. It met the approval of some of the parishioners, but then I had to finish the job and colour it using inks, washes and textured paints. I liked both effects, but with only one physical statue could only have one finish ... ;o) Render programs, like CINEMA 4D, VUE, DAZ STUDIO and POSER give us more options, and allow us, perhaps to be more creative per hour ( as well as allowing us to experiment non-destructively ). Warm regards, from a sunny but cold Glasgow ( 6C / 43F ), John.
