Description

Bryce - Spiralizer- Amorphium - All my own textures and models Jane’s Diary - on Cloud Gardens The Still Water Cloud Garden at the heart of the Sea of Glass Bones is a technological marvel, or so it is believed. A highly unusual stasis field holds the water mirror-still and also holds the clouds above in the peculiar pattern that is known here. The cause for this stasis field has been under scientific investigation for several decades. It has long been the subject of fervent controversy. The Glass Bones in this area have mutated and begun to grow - like plants of Glass. Some investigators believe the stasis field also stimulates crystallization, and, of course, other “odd effects” as they are wont to call them. Those Pilgrims who have traveled this far into the Sea of Glass Bones and meditated in this holiest of all the Cloud Catcher Gardens, return among us with a potent and ringing serenity. This I can tell you - in certain light, you can see Cloud Gardens in their eyes. Some of these Travelers, these pilgrims, have begun creating Cloud Gardens on their Home World’s when they return from these magical journeys. They have begun to call themselves, “Cloud Catchers.” It’s all very strange, I tell you. I, myself, am certain that Cloud Catching has something to it much more than the creation of stasis, Gardens - or even the creation of Beauty. The great stasis field in the Still Water Cloud Garden is one of the more permanent landmarks in the Sea of Glass Bones. I’ve come here many times. I’ve begun to suspect that the stasis field is simply the living Will of long-ago Cloud Catchers - a living legacy of a peace, love, and the intense focus of an intent we don’t even begin to imagine. I don’t think the scientists are the ones who will discover the secret to Cloud Gardens. You may be interested to know that there are starting to be rumors of a small pool in a tiny garden in the American Midwest. It seems it never shows a ripple, and is always a perfect mirror for the sky. I know the pilgrim who created this Cloud Garden. If you and I become friends, I may take you there one day, if you like.

since you mentioned this album (Jane's), I wanted to visit all the posts. I've commented on the most recent 4, so here I am at the first of the other 4. (From 2000---ancient history! It feels so long ago, it's hard to believe we had running water then!) Your words are enticing and magical, they draw us into this whole other world---a world as complete as ours, but completely different, at least on the exterior. I love the idea of 'Sea of Glass Bones' and 'Still Water Cloud Garden', where, after someone's been there a while, they come back and you can see the Cloud Gardens in their eye. And I like how, in a few of these, you invite us to ask you for more, to reveal more to us...love how the storyteller in you comes out full force. As for your visual, it's a big glass bone carnival, where it seems like all these wonderful glass 'rays' are shooting out of that central orb...or they're shooting 'in' to it...But it's a big explosion of crystalline forms with a deep green-blue light, and it's all broken up by those mustard yellows, and those beautiful pinks (with touches of red). An image in full bloom, wild and beautiful, and you intimate that this tranquil garden is some kind of generative place that gives birth to life itself. Magical in word and image.
