Deep in the shady sadness of a vale Far sunken from the healthy breath of morn, Far from the fiery noon, and eve’s one star, Sat gray-hair’d Saturn, quiet as a stone, Still as the silence round about his lair; Forest on forest hung about his head Like cloud on cloud. No stir of air was there, Not so much life as on a summer’s day Robs not one light seed from the feather’d grass, But where the dead leaf fell, there did it rest.

This is beautifully done! The mood is superb, the softness you've achieved makes this something quite special. The time is gone, the song is over, thought I'd something more to say.

The title to this image is as stunning (and poetic) as the image itself. I love the softness of it, the dream-like quality this achieves. It is, in so many ways, a literate image, and it makes me think of something I'd read by Jorge Luis Borghes, or some such author: Borghes and Ursula K. LeGuin come to mind. The image itself supports my train of thought as well, and it makes me quite curious as to what the half a page of scribbled lines might reveal of the author/poet. Marvelous.
