Description
Finally finished the fourth panel in a 10 part series exploring Hermetic Imagery, utilizing a technique of Active Imagination taught to me by an individual well versed in this technique. The panels are 2.5 feet by 3 feet. Took about two months, done in pen and ink, magnifying glass, and tech pens on Bainbridge Board. Enjoy!

This puts me in mind of Austin Osman Spare's work. Fantastic piece and I know this took a lot of patience and care. Beautiful image!

That is absolutely amazing - so much detail and so much to see hidden away. Fantastic.

Opened up your gallery and saw this right off the bat .. and another further down .. I just adore these works of yours .. there is so much to see, so much to think about, and so many details to pour over! All the hours and hours of work you've put into this are worth every minute .. the results are always so spectacular!

I so am jealous now....This is Awesome my friend!!! My late brother was capable of doing this type of art/sketching/etching/inking and this made me think of him....I could sit for hours watching as bits and pieces would begin to come to life as the scene grew more and more with each passing hour that he sat doing it....I've tried a few myself over the years when I used to do a collage of Disney Characters at a time when you could recreate them without the worry of infringing upon someones copy writes as why I don't anymore....I always thought when you create someone else art that it was a tribute or paying respect but not now a days...(sigh).. Yours above reminds as well as the story books my mom used to read to me from a book of known fables that had a similar sketch art approach...Very Cool what you created here!....(smiles)...
