Lake Jackson I have no idea what these eggs are from, but I thought they look cool clustered on the side of this tree. If any of you have an idea of what they are from feel free to mention it. ;) Hope you all enjoy and please zoom. Thanks for the comments. UPDATE: They are the eggs to the Island Apple Snails.

Super find Kim and excellent capture. We have Snail Kites (Rostrhamus sociabilis) about 5 or 6 hours drive south of you. They hunt Apple Snails (about the size of a tennis ball) as the main part of their diet. I find the empty snail shells here and there but have yet to see the Snail Kites. I love to learn new 'stuff' so thank you!!!!
