Although I purchased Poser close to twelve years ago, I didn't actually start trying to "figure it out" until about a year later. Since then I have learned so much and grown as an artist and have been a character creator for 10 years.
I'm originally from Aberdeen, Scotland but I live in East Texas with my husband and our cats, dogs and Amazon Parrot. I also have a 25 year old son who lives in Scotland.
I'm so glad to be a part of this wonderful online community where I have met so many incredible artists!

What did you buy Trish? I am new to photography as well, I bought my camera just over a year ago, its a lot of fun but can be really frustrating at first =)

your doing the right thing in my opinion playing around and finding some interesting light and angles, i like this, it shows an understanding of use of light which i think is what photgraphy is all about. Good luck, you have an exciting road ahead.

Just like our 3D art. Lighting, Lighting,Lighting. Only thing to do is experiment with different angles and lighting. For the most part these new digital camera's do a pretty good job even for novice photographers.Family will never be safe again as they hear click , click ,click. My cats run and hide or just give me a dirty look as if to say, don't you have enough photos of us yet.. Love digital as you can snap as many as you like and pick out the best ones and delete the rest. Most important, Have Fun!
