Description


I am experimenting with setting up a scene where we look from a small moon with atmosphere towards its planet, a gas giant like Neptune. For this test I used a setup with the gas giant directly in the scene at realistic scale. Well, scaled down to a manageable size and distance to the foreground. This has the advantage that it interacts realist with the atmosphere and sun. The gas giant material is procedural and generated in Vue. Here are a couple of renders of the view from the moon during day and night (yes, yes, I have watched Avatar way too often...). Set up and rendered in Vue 10.5 Infinite. Ciao TD
