Description

Jupiter Passage An Orion’s Arm Future History Project Image. A perspective of the Callisto crew vehicle not previously posted. Cleaning up some stray threads in preparation for my future history time-line and context chart I came across this perspective of the conjoined Callisto CV/Interplanetary Orion approaching de-staging prior to Callisto orbital insertion. Some details obscured in posted perspectives of the craft are more clearly visible here -- detailing of the ring habitat (positioned atop the body of the drum-shaped landing stage) and the central mission operations and command deck module and forward docking node are revealed in this image, also the full length of the vehicle prior to staging is evident.
