Mandelbulb3D/PS7 Just messin round The underworld is surrounded by a series of rivers: The Acheron (river of woe), The Cocytus (river of lamentation), The Phlegethon (river of fire), The Styx (river of unbreakable oath by which the gods swear), and The Lethe (river of forgetfulness). Once across the rivers an Adamantine Gate, guarded by Cerberus, forms the entrance to the kingdom of Hades. Awesome shapes and sizes in this collection of floating debris. The sizzling heat looks intense across the gate barriers. Interesting story! Think I'll try and stay on this side of the river. Wonderful lighting,colors,reflections and details. Excellent addition to your messin around section Len.

Len,you can't beat the Greek Myths, they really knew how to spin a yarn. I think that was the beginning of science fiction. Being of Epirot ancestry I grew up on these fantastic stories.An Epirot is a person from the area between the Northern Greek Mountains and Southern Albania. Some pretty wild country, my parents came from tiny villages nestled in the mountains and spoke of these rivers as if they actually existed. Your narrative is riveting, love it! In fact, I'm uploading a drawing I just finished on the Great God Pan. My grandmother would tell me about a cavernous area outside her village where the god Pan vanished, and the world heard the lament, The Great Pan is dead. Christianity came into vogue and I believe the story commemorates the death of the Mythical Age. Absolutely blown away by your image--hot stuff, my friend!!!!!
