Description
Taken at one of the beaches on the Big Sur coast. I'm used to seeing round or relatively small, irregularly shaped tidepools, but the erosion patterns in this particular spot created long channels that fill with water & host sea life of various kinds.

A very good photgraph of this tide pool.I can only imagine the abundance of living things that must dwell in this spot.

How interesting! I can only speculate on the reasons for the long straight rift. Beautiful shot. The grass in the foreground is marvellous!

It looks like the ruminants of an ancient lava flow and so cool to see things living in there. A beautiful green color catches the eye right away.
