Au soir, j'espérais trouver refuge pour la nuit dans le château de mon ami Rodolphe.... mais une fois en vue du château, on s'est regardés, Gordan et moi, la herse n'était pas baissée, ce n'était pas normal !
At night, I hoped to find shelter for the night in the castle of my friend Rodolphe... but once in view of the castle, we wondered, Gordan and me, why the harrow was not lowered, it was not normal !

No more time for joking or playing love games, the situation is getting worrying. It's pretty unusual to find an opened castle without anybody to welcome the visitors. Ce n'est plus le moment de badiner ou de folâtrer, la situation devient inquiétante. C'est plutôt inhabituel de voir un château ouvert sans qu'il n'y ait personne pour accueillir les visiteurs.
