Took some time do a render of my french gear, came out with this, the title is a line form the movie "Lost Command", with Anthony Quinn, Alain Delon & George Seagal, a movie about the Algerian war.This was set up in poser, used terradome with the cave system cliff, there was no post work, also rendered in poser. Used VPM1 paratrooper with my french gear & Panko's Mat 49 SMG, US holster & US grenade, also used 3D nerd's cave system & the binoculars are from Beyond VR free at Share CG. The Sikorsky SH-58 from archibase.net retextured with simple textures & a french nationality roundel. It came out really nice, I'm happy with the results. My gear includes the webbing straps, web belt, canteen & pouch with pouches for the Mat 49. The head gear includes the Bigeard Cap & soft brim Fr Bush Hat, tied up like a cowboy hat, very common way of wearing the hat, the other way was with either the left or right side folded up like an australian bush hat, this type of bush hat was used both in Indochina & Algeria, & came in varying colours from light khaki to olive green. My gear also includes 2 cheche ( berber scarves ), one under the belt the other over the belt, colours also varied from light beige to a very dark beige. This represents a pair of Para Legionaries chasing the Fell(Fellagha: Algerian independence fighters)through the Djebel (mountains). Took a break from transfering files, well back to work. A little note for the jerry Cans forgot to mention to have the displacement checked when rendering, hope you enjoy the kit. Thank you for looking.
