Description

UF5 Thank you for stopping for a closer look. Any and all comments are welcome and appreciated. This old laptop I have with me is not able to handle MB3D, but i did have UF installed on it. This was the first time I opened my UF program in about 2 years. It took a while to remember what to do. This image is quite basic but hope you enjoy. I will be home late on Wednesday. Jim

Nicely done UF work, super job man. What OS does that Laptop run, anything from XP/Sp3 on and a at least a P4 processor should be able to run MB3D. A lack of RAM will determine whether or not you can Render of any Size but you should be able to get some m3p files set up to render when you get back to the Workhorse. Peace

Wow what a beauty. Looks like you found your way back into the program easy enough. Awesome swirls of life savers and bottle tops. The lighting really makes the vibrant colors jump out so well. Excellent work Jim. Love and Hugs.

I remember these "old fashion" (hee hee) fractals! They were so much fun. I had Fractint installed on my computer (back in the days when a gerbil in a wheel could just about outperform a CPU's power, and the fractals sometimes took long minutes, or even hours, to generate!). Thanks for posting this - these flatter cousins of today's 3D fractals are still beautiful!
