Description
The performers are Peter Yarrow and his son on May 11, 2012 in Rochester, Mn. Peter was part of the singing group, "Peter, Paul and Mary". Remember "Puff the Magic Dragon"?
The young boy is a kid that was being bullied at school. He finally had enough and hit back. He was kicked out of school, but the bully is still in school. Peter and his son played and sung along with the little boy to the tune of "Don't Laugh at Me". Go to this web site for more on bulling and the song. http://www.operationrespect.org/

You know, I really don't understand this outbreak of bullying that's in the news the last few years. I don't recall anyone being bullied at all when I was in grade school, not until Jr. High did I even see a single case of it and then it was a matter of some idiots taking advantage of a couple of the Special Ed kids... I got in trouble for sticking up for them, one of the few times in my life I've ever felt the need for fighting. I think it has alot to do with the way many kids are "raised" anymore. They're selfish, overindulged and people are more interested in being their friends instead of being their parents. They have little in the way of moral compass to guide them. Many are packed off to schools as soon as they can stumble around as tykes so they can get a headstart in this increasingly competitive world we live in and I think as a whole we are suffering for it. There's little room for you when it's all about me, me, me. Nice capture by the way, I loved P, P & M stuff as I was growing up, so dreamy.
