Japanese Garden behind the dunes,The Hague, Holland. Infect located in an inclination between two very old sand dune barriers, ( = Clingendael) Despite the fact that the estate (with park) Clingendael is locate in Wassenaar on the border with The Hague, it is owned by Tthe Hague. In the park you find the very delicate Japanese garden which is founded around 1910, 6 weeks a year the Japanese garden is open for the public since the mid 1950-ties and very recently also 2 weeks in the autumn. This Japanese Garden is very unique and a treasure of the Hague and the entrance is free of charge (LOL) Since the opening for the public I have visited the garden very often as we did on the 15th of May again.
