Description

One of these walked out across the road about 20 feet in front of my car and looked at me just like this. I would not have been more surprised if it had been a big foot. I later found out the Federal government had released a bunch trying to repopulate them. You are not allowed to shoot one and I am sure that the cattle ranchers do but you would never know it. The ranchers talk about finding calves in trees or they come up missing bones and all. On a cool crisp night you can hear them scream from the creek about a quarter of a mile from my house. They sound like a woman, in fact the neighbors called the police to have them see if I was all right. They thought my husband was beating me. I used Lynne's cougar. LB plants and Daz morphing hills. Used a little post work to soften the edges and did it in DAZ. I am however going back to Poser Pro this week. Please leave comments, it is the only way anyone improves. Thanks for the time and remarks

I was terrified of Daz Studio the first time I tried it but you've done great with this one (your second try from the looks of your gallery?). Some of the features, especially the lighting, are very different from Poser so that's really difficult to get used to -- and the camera too actually (at least for me it was). I don't know that I can offer anything truly constructive as I'm not brave enough to attempt anything "water" in DS at this point and any corrections I would make to this would have to be done in Photoshop. Within the program the only thing I would try maybe is to cast more of the image in shadow and highlight the cougar a little more and make him stand out. The composition is really great. Hope this is the kind of feedback you were looking for! :)

Thank you for your help. I will have to figure out how to do the shadow thing. Would I use some thing like gels and do they work in DAZ. I have some that other people made but I have not messed with them yet. AH another project; Thanks for your time.

By the way the water is nothing but a plain raised up some and a texture on it and then mess with the opacity under the surface selection in windows. That was the easy part then put your subject so he rest on the bottom and that way it shows through the opacity. EASY

yeah the water is a tricky thing,i never came along of doing it "real looking". sometimes i use jepes steams @daz3d to make it a bit more vivid, but i am not a master. and after all its fantasy i dont look too hard for authenticity. this looks good to me. i bet they make even more noise when they "·make love"the cats that is,lol.so then the neighbours might thing your hubbby is giving you........hehehehehehe
