Description

Yes. this is a brass sculpture of the famous writer H. C. Anderson, who also wrote the story about The Ugly Duckling, which always makes me think about Danny Kaye. I loved the Musical with him as H.C. Andersen :) I cried lakes when he sang it. ;-) Have a beautiful Day. Here it is cold, windy and cloudy: I will be late with comments, but I will try to catch up with you all later. As usual, Thank you for your always welcome viewing, commenting and fav to my previous post. :-)

I love the wear pattern of the patina. It looks like a lot of people have been climbing up and sitting on his lap! :)

i love the difference between foreground and background: dark and bright, the old dark patina of the sculpture and the fine bright brickstone architecture in the background

Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful capture. I love the the colors on the statue, I love the POV from which you shoot this photo, 'cause also the building comes out great here, Helle. The depth you've created here is also perfect.
