Cheers fellow artists, O.K. so the "Spider Bait" animation is taking a bit longer than expected, (must be all those extra legs and eyes !) so here's a quickie to let you know I'm still in business !
Here we see Roid Ribbit aka "UnderToad" chillin' as all good superheroes do...I think ?
After a hard day's work, nothing beats a cold goldie and Roid knows that Victoria Bitter is the best thirst quencher around ! (well, in Victroia that is !)
So, Cheers again friends and see ya real soon !
BTW, this was really a texture experiment in Lightwave, funny how that happens ?

Watching America TV one is lead to think Fosters is Australian for Beer but they'd be wrong. Victoria Bitter's is really good Beer but when I was working in Queensland back in 84 for Grant Geophysical it was 4x, XXXX, that was the doo. Ya'll knew how to do a Survey, the Bar moved with the Crew, it was a 4x night every night. I was there for 3 weeks, fixed the system in 2 days and the rest of the time it was just Nuts in the Bush, man I didn't want to leave, Ya'lls just crazy Downunder, my kinda people. Peace

Here we have Roid Ribbit, a Magma-Lava looking Dude or Toad, very cool or should I say hot, authentic textures and colours, warts and all ... I think I'll settle for a cool Shandy, while staring at these texture experiments - awesome work - top marks Jeff, BB

Roid Ribbit looks very interesting and you have made a great texture for him. He has great looking muscles too and I'm glad he has the sense to drink a beer after a hard day at the office. I like his background too with its great colours and textures and shapes. I hope we see more of him.

so, 'nuther thang I haveta sample from the land of the future... just have to be wary of super-sized cane toads, and vampire kangaroos, and those nasty were-koalas I've heard soooo much about... cool image....

Such a stunning commercial, could be for a fiery drink. Because as I see it, this creature resembles a very ardent and too long baked, deformed pizza, and after that you really need this cool drink. Hugs are going to 'down under', to both of you lovely friends :). Stay well!

That really is an awesome texture- I am guessing its nodal based and a combination of things you worked out- it looks incredible, love how it changes from feet to upper body and it just fits the look of the character perfectly.
