Description

The sinking of the heroic Thunderchild has long been a favourite from the story. Getting between a fleeing refugee ferry and the martians and then ramming the closet, it was destroyed by a nearby war machine. This is my version of the scene. Bryce7pro and photoshop

Not bad at all. The ram has to be one of the high points of the story. Now to be a purist, apologies in advance, a NORTHAMPTON-class CA should have been able to take those suckers out at several miles distance. Hmmmm... this would have been a GREAT scene in the 1950's version if they'd used tripod war machines.
