Description

Spot illustration for an RPG game. Created using a Wacom tablet & models from Poser & Vue. I don't always use models for inks, but if I think they might turn into a color piece I'm more inclined to go the extra mile. Also, if I'm trying to create a hard perspective I often use models for reference. Using live models is a ton more fun if you're doing a pinup, but not so much when you are drawing dragons! I forgot to note: this is very, very large compared to the intended print size. This will be about 4in wide for print. So, I didn't use as many lines & the lines are not so fine as my normal inks.

I wish I could draw... I love the dynamics of the harpoon. It's funny, at first I didn't see it, but then it popped into view, and after that, I couldn't stop looking at it! This would be very cool in color, especially as you can do things to further emphasize the dynamics at play. Wind, flame, smoke, you have a super battle scene here!! Well done.
