Description
I've been in a real slump lately - a real dry spell when it comes to any creativity whatsoever. I get inspired every now and then, when reading or watching movies or looking at other art....but when I sit down to create, it just disappears. :sigh: Sometimes I just open DS and start playing - loading this, loading that, deleting, deleting, deleting....or turning out rubbish. LOL. Don't you just hate those times? :sigh: I'm hoping my dry spell is coming to an end, as I'm finding myself playing a bit more. Hopefully, you'll like this one. I was just in a sci fi mood tonight, and wanted to play with some new toys - Lagoona by Silver & Adiene is just plain gorgeous, and the oh so cool Dead Nation Boots by SickleYield and Marieah (may you two ladies keep creating together!)This one's just for fun.
Used:
Background/floor: RDNA Render Studio (I apply the mats manually as they are material files - I just love this background/floor prop)
Dead Nation Boots: Sickleyield & Marieah @ DAZ
Outfit: Liquid Halo 16 by Uzilite, with refit for Genesis by Xenic101 @ DAZ
Crate: Stonemason Crates & Containers @ DAZ
And tying everything together are the amazing incredible brilliant Hardcore Shaders by Fisty @ DAZ - used on the boots and the suit and jacket and that cute puppy!

Nice atmosphere and interesting cube. :P Dry spells are indeed unfortunate. I did my first render in a few weeks just yesterday. I've been doing tons of photography as a substitute for my rendering this month. No money from that yet though. lol

This is absolutley gorgeous! Seems you are getting out of the slump but you know what? The worst thing when you're feeling like that is to think of opening the file, setting it all up, etc etc... it feels so overwhelming. The littlest task seems so overwhelming. The good thing though is that even in the worst of it (I was fully convinced in some of these "slumps" that I would never create again) is that it does pass. It's wonderful to see you have lifted yourself out. AGain, a gorgeous image here! :)

Sorry to hear of your muse's demise but I'd say it's getting back on track with this one. I can almost hear a little electronic woof as the robodog tries to get her out of her slump. Well done.

Man, you WERE busy while I was out floating in the middle of nowhere. Awesome use of the Hardcore shaders. Really like the overall look of the character - kinda bored and seriously thinking about kicking the snot out of someone. What hair is that?
