Nice image. I love vistas such as this and the mood is outstanding. This actually looks more like a contact binary, one of my favorite star-formations, though I have yet to explore any aspect of such a stellar arrangement. Marvelous work. I also wonder if this image would work as well, if the stars were distorted a bit, as close binaries and contact binaries would spend a lot of time messin' with each other, gravitationally. If the stars/suns were a bit wider at the equator and even almost oval shaped, I think this image would work in yet another dimension, but as it stands, I like it the way it is.
