This looks like it could be an illustration in an old fairy-tale book or such, dear Odile. Marvelous, beautiful work. You've almost got a sort of Maxfield Parrish look going on with the background. Wonderful image!

Nice structure in your composition Odie..look at how lines drawn along your bridge, water and clouds all merge at a point behind where your traveler has come from. Since you listed this as mixed media..you probably couldn't make use of atmospherics to blur out the distant castle.but if this is not the case..chech your scenes scale so you are closer to world scale and matches the atmosphere you want for haze etc. keep up the good work dear.

This is stunning Odile, I collect illustrated fairy tales/fables and your imagery is very reminiscent of those classic works. I'm not surprised you can do this, but still quite amazed!
