Description
When I was a boy, in the very late sixties (Damned, am I that old ! ), I imagined the future would look like this. We could live on planets where we would use rockets instead of cars ...
Perhaps a bit of nostalgia in this quick one ;oD
As usual, posed and set up in Daz Studio. Materials tweaking, lighting and rendering in Octane Render.
I used a HDRI map for lighting/sky and pathtracing kernel. Postwork in Gimp for resizing and signature only.

Great retro sci-fi look you've got here, now you've reminded me of the Jetsons - used to watch it every Saturday when I was growing up in the 70s :) I agree, it's too bad we never did get those flying cars or rockets!

Like you i'm old enough to remember that time too. The thought that one day we'd all be travelling round along automotive skyways in flying cars. Wonderfully nostalgic and very touching image that seems to be full of hope :)

As another child of the 60's I shared your vision,expecting aircars and rocket travel would be the norm in the 90's...great scene and lighting,the DOF adds an extra touch to this also!

@Leije and AidanaWillowRaven : Lol, it must be the 'macho' side of my personnality ... ;ob In fact, I wanted this image to reflect the mood of the 50's and 60's and, back in those days, the role of the woman was staying at home cooking, cleaning the house and looking after the children ... And you have to admit that,usually, my female characters have 'big balls' (seem my previous image for example.

As a kid I was pretty sure we'd all have personal jetpacks, etc. by the time we got to our present era, man, was I dead wrong about that. Great retro look but I can't help thinking one thing came true ~ the air's so bad they have to wear helmets! Time to move the spaceport out of downtown me thinks... ;)
