What am I to make of you humans - that mechanical is your leader?
A strange conceit, indeed!
You create a machine to relieve you of work, to increase the time you have for creativity and leisure - and then give it a name, a personality - feelings, emotions, independent thought - and the machine no longer does what you want, but obeys its own desires!
What other race in the universe does this? Where else, on any world, will you find vehicles and engines called "she"?
You are indeed a race of contradictions, Captain Cady.
And you tell me that this individual is a constant cause of worry to its owner - and yet he wishes it to be returned to him - it is in some way dear to him?
You have created a creature which you cannot destroy, Captain, for by allowing this mechanical thoughts, feelings and a personality you have made it an individual like a human; and to destroy such a creation would be the equivalent of murdering a human.
And you have thus created a whole new philosophy to explore and discuss.
Your craft was destroyed, and I give you this one in which to voyage home.
Peace be with you and all your strange companions, and may your world one day be free from greed and your Guardian again free to speak with those of other worlds; then will your Earth no longer be known to us as The Silent Planet and all the citizens of the Universe will rejoice.

the sentiments,the truth and the emotions of the human race come out very respectfully,i dont know how to explain,but i saw the humanity through the eyes of the priestess/goddess as an outsider so to speak. and i thought that despite the very bad habits humanity has developed and even worse to come,despite this the human is something special maybe. we will find out one day,meanwhile i carry on learning for my next incarnation lol. your images are always inspiring to me and lots of your works bring the child out in me. i hope that this child will stay for long long times in me,maybe outlive me.what a thought.......
