------------------------------------------------- The Crows Caw I am old and sick. I can feel the icy hand drawing near. She comes to me at night when I am on the edge of sleep. Her whisper is as soft and soothing as her Crow's caw-caw call. "Is tonight the night," she questions? "His wings are spread wide and he is ready to take you with me; to the place you really want to be." As sleep closes in, I hear my own voice from far away. It is saying, "Go away lovely one, not tonight. I still have a few things left to do". I then tease her with a promise, "But please do come again soon. The next time we meet I just might take you up on your kind offer." ------------------------------------------------- OK, a little dark I will admit. But always with hope and perseverance. So what is this strange pic? It is my dedication to all in this community that are sick in body or heart. And to those in the community that have passed. Keep up the good fight! Yes, ultimately we all get carried to a place on the other side. I hope your destination is the one you hope it will be. Bless all of you. Thank you for your views, comments, and caring.
