Description

The Buachaille Etive Mòr ( the Great herdsman of Etive), is the gate keeper to Glencoe. As you approach Glencoe along the A82 over Rannoch Moor it is the first peak that really grabs the attention and by golly she grabs it. Taking my little girl there earlier this year was one of the special moments of my life as Glencoe is a very special place for me. Hope your all well. Martin

An amazing capture and view Martin! Hiking down through the 'Glen', toward Fort Williams, is still in my mind. I met so many wonderful people and it was the first time that I saw 'painted' sheep!

Simple, yet powerful shot... The colors and the shadows, and of course the crispy details... I would say you have managed to put some emotions into this capture, since I can feel it's important for you. Vashek

A reminder of how badly I need to go back to Scotland again; my favourite guest house in Pitlochry closed down some years ago and I lost the heart to go back. Beautiful image, gorgeous late evening light, amazing foreground colours.
