Description

This is the laat of the eagle pictures for this year. We were almost ready to leave when I spotted this one. All three are doing well. This has been a special experince. I hope I never lose the feeling of absolute joy when I see these guys in the wild. The interest in this series from everyone has also been wonderful. There may be hope for people after all. I now have 28 babies on the bottle and 7 eating from the dish. That means I start at 4:00 am. I now know why people at my age should not be having babies! I will post more of these babies when I get time to. TRex, I am looking into the info you sent. Nothing surprises me any more. Thanks everyone for your support.

Aw, my! Preening time! Nice every-day activity photo. My heart goes out to these beautiful birds. As a small child, I sat under the bronze eagle in the center of the huge atrium in Wanamaker's huge department store in Philadelphia, listening to the biggest organ in the US. I loved looking up at its beak and petting its big toes and talons. I would LOVE to see one of these in real life. Can one be in love with an eagle? I think I am! Thanks a lot for this series. IF you perchance have the opportunity to get an occasional photo of them in the future, please do, and please post! With all those little ones to feed, I understand why you're up at 4:00 AM! And then off to work! My, I admire you! I've been looking for a few small companions - I'm considering 2 rats of the same gender. Once I get them, I'll post some photos. Keep up the fantastic work! :-)
