Description


Early morning drills launching scout aircraft off the IJN Yamato and Haruna in sight of the Samar islands in better times. The "better times" won't last long. Just trying out some stuff. IJN Haruna sketchup warehouse free by The Architect IJN Yamato same location free by Dorian Greyman Mitsubishi F1M "Pete" by D. James, same warehouse Vue 6 Infinite and a bit of Photoshop Cs3

Interesting colours, remnds me of an old-style book illustration. After your lead, I too have been perusing Sketchup for such treasures... I'm going to have to catch that Pete as a priority to kit out my next seaplane base image!

Truly impressive models, but as I've said before "it's what you do with them.." and as usual, what YOU do is most impressive.Really like the 'letterbox' format which gives a great feel for the size of these monsters.They had their day but ultimately like so many others, ended up rusting on the ocean floor.Congrats on another epic 'seascape'....
