Description
And for the final performance of Mass Chaos Tour here in my State: GODSMACK! I've wanted to see these guys since they first came to my knowledge! As mentioned in my post on "Hell Yeah" I got a bonus, Sully Erna and Shannon Larkin did the famous "Drum Battle" I have ALWAYS wished I could see...lol I recommend anyone who loves drums to check it out on YouTube if you have not seen it! There was one small problem with seeing these guys though. I was so enthralled in singing and shouting etc, (crowd stuff you know), that I kept forgetting I had my camera in one hand and my phone in my pocket...all the pictures I did take came out crap because I WAS moving around or being moved around by the crowd. I came home with a sore throat, had that sore throat through the next day even but I wouldn't have changed it for anything it was AWESOME! Someone mentioned these musicians as being my "Idols" in one of my posts of this concert...well let me tell you a little something. I do not idolize anything or anyone. I do LOVE music. I do not make comments like wow you must idolize those or whatever it is your posting that week cuz you take so many pics of them do I? Nope! Thats your thing, and MUSIC IS MINE! I enjoy looking at EVERYONES Gallery VERY much. I'm sorry I do not get the chance to comment as much as I'd like. Most don't have a problem with this, yet some do...if it bothers you that much then don't worry about commenting on mine because I am NOT here to rack-up comments, nor am I here to see how much praise I get for a post..I am here because I LIKE POSTING and SHARING! End of...thank you for the clicks, comments, and fav's on my previous posts (all of them). I hope everyone has a GREAT Wednesday! All pictures taken by me, edited in Photoshop.

These are some super cool captures Rose, and it sounds like they saved the best for last. It's no wonder you had a sore throat after all you described.

documenting an event is a double edge sword...you either veiw the whole thing through a lens and forget to enjoy it...or you have a great time and get a few shots to prove you were there...sounds like you did the latter and that's all good...glad you got to feel the music...AWESOME!!!

It Sounds Like You Really Got Caught Up In The Moment and Really Enjoyed Yourself, At Least You Got Few Photo's To Share. ;~)

Thanks for sharing this Rosie. Getting caught up in the tide of it is what it's all about. One of the best bands I ever saw live were Queen in 1986, Freddie really knew how to make a crowd rock. So many people there that it took us 4 hours just to get out of the car park, many slept there overnight. As for comments, doesn't bother me much either. Just happy if people enjoy what I post.

Rainastorm,,Rose,, who ever made that comment has major trouble fighting idols in their own life!! You can always tell by those kinds of comments!! Hey I'm a musician, but Music is NOT my God! just my Fav thing... hmm well just my second fav thing on THIS planet!!! And that band is very good at what they do!! I for one have really enjoyed these posts!!!! :o)

Thanks for sharing and glad you got a chance to see some great players. I have a small point and shoot I'm going to take in to see Iron Maiden this summer. No one ever sits at those shows and everyone sings all the words. If I don't forget I'll try and take some pics. I like your attitude on 'those kind of people'.

Looks like a great party :) Great collage

These are some kick-a$$ photos, Rose! And I think your comments are also kick-a$$ and right on target. You keep doing what you do, and enjoying it to the max! And post/comment when you can, and don't worry about a few nay-sayers, hon! You've got a lot of friends who enjoy your photos and renders - and I'm proud to be one of them! As they say..... You Go, Girl! :-D

Everyone in life has his or her own agenda and way about doing things in general...I agree with your latter part of your cantor and say that to each there own.The difference between me than most is I do Idolize certain individuals but don't go as far as worshiping the very ground they walk on..It's music...If I like them I listen to them and buy their products(CD's). Though the music has run into a road block after the late 90's as I find most new artist's these days are only in the business to get rich quick and produce lack luster music there are a few exceptions but not many....I guess my problem is that I'm stuck in the 80's as that generation produced way more artists(birth of MTV)than any other generation and was a shame that the music industry "thinks" with every passing decade there has to be "change"...(i'e) the 60's/70's/80's and so on is why I believe they should let the music of the times run it's course and let the fans decide their longevity and not worry about creating yet again another decade genre...This is pretty much why the Hair Bands(which is my favorite genre)was fazed out because they where dominating that genre at the time but the music industry wanted change and is why all those bands bled over to the early 90's and then "POOF".....gone!...Though a lot went over seas and flourished and continued on and is why some 30 years later they are making a comeback but practically all need walkers and wheelchairs to get around now ...lol..Some have stood the test of time just as the music industry was afraid of.Funny thing is they are still filling arena's to sold out capacity..Hmmm...Me thinks the industry dropped the ball on this one...I keep up with this simply because I was a DJ for a decade and did not like it when they took our music at the time and said we needed a change...well maybe they did but we the fans did not...Sorry for the long winded comment but certain subjects I find interesting I usually have a few paragraphs to share.... And just for sh#ts and giggles...I take all comments with a grain a slat and every now and then someone says or implies something..I myself just blow it off and go have a smoke...(smiles)..Life's too short to sweat the small things in life as someone once told me...(smiles)...
