I can see she's enjoying a walk on a blustery autumn day - or so I think!

a big splash of organic red, almost like crumpled paper or crepe paper, or even decoupage...but it's also like the ancient cave paintings (lascaux, etc---which I mention a lot in your gallery). The greens & blues are fine counterpoint, as are the lighter areas (white, light blues, etc etc). The wonderful green 'thing' in the lower left side is very organic. Chesscanoe sees a female walking on an autumn day. Love to see interpretations. I just feel like a big jazzy explosion of energies and even struggles, all playing out on this very textured, alive surface. And for all the rock-like features of the piece, it also feels a little like oil-paint. Sometimes you get some of the 80s abstract expressionists in your pieces, like they stopped by and spoke to you for a little bit. A bit of Jackson Pollock and others. But these pieces are still wholly yours, and I think the Pollocks of the world could learn a lot from your work. And lots of your stringy black lifelines. A powerful little piece.
