Description

NO it is NOT a wasp! Nomada goodeniana. One of several species of related nomad bee, all of which look more like wasps than bees. A cuckoo of other solitary bees, such as Andrena species, and often seen around the emtrance holes of their nests. The female lays her eggs in the cells of the host:these hatch and the larvae feed on the pollen and honey provided , and on the hosts eggs or larvae.
