Description

When I was in Truckee, I rode around Donner Lake a couple of times. One day as I was on my way back, a freight train came chugging along the tracks above me. What is it about trains? You just can't NOT stop and watch them. I caught the engine just as it disappeared into the tunnel. This was a relatively short train, but some are over a mile long!!!

I don't know what it is, either. Tunnels are compelling, trains hold my attention, and I have no idea why. Great capture!

Been a train nut since about the age of five. Even this glimpse draws me in.

I like the quick draw and shoot action! A great capture but the snow gives me the shivers. To many years in south Florida.
