Yes as long as i was a small boy I knew people drive they cars right on the beach. Use to you could ride dirt bikes and all that stuff but if you did now you best go five miles per hour or get a big fine. Even in a car you best go slow. even if no one is there.
but it all fun now. i took this photo on the day the moon was going to eat the sun lol. I read about that on the net hahahahahah
Anyway I did get some photos there. here one to show what goes on.
I down here in Mexico now but did not down low my photos yet.
I like the way the tire tracks bring you into the image and the people haveing fun too

We have beach areas here called 'the strand' where your not on the sand but so close to your car it's almost there lol love this photo it's fantastic like those tires mark effects too

The good ole days. We could drive on the beaches before not now, they had put blockade stone walls. Can't do it anymore. Nice shot. Aloha

Cool DOF, POV, detail and lighting effects, Jock. Lots of fun, but one can't do that on the Southern California beaches. The only parking places here are on pavement.

cool shot, captured the textures of the tire treads on the sand... on our beaches (Canada), you would sink in the sand and gravel ones, but the rock ones are too treacherous to attempt with anything more than feet

I think the tire tracks just make this shot - a really cool one, Jock! Not many beaches around where you can drive your car on them.
