Description
I was walking through a residential neighborhood in Portland, admiring the architecture & lush vegetation, when I noticed a man standing in a window looking out. He seemed frozen in place & there seemed to be something odd about him. It turned out that the odd thing about him was that he was a mannequin. I thought about posting the original photo, in which it's pretty clear that he's a mannequin, but decided to go with the postworked version in which I don't think it's obvious...

Your postwork choices gave you the result you were looking for, I think. I had to look several times, and wasn't sure until I read the text. I like the photograph very much. Color and composition and interest are all there, so any postwork style you chose would have been good.
