Description

The man at the lectern is the senior mayor of Heidelberg. Here he gives a speech at the City Hall. He said people should ride more with bicycles, not so much with the car. I was somewhat amused by the equipment, the speakers seem to originate from the Middle Ages. But the mayor is still young. Thanks for viewing.

A fantastic capture, looks great on zoom. I like those green shoe soles from the man on the right :). The major is right: "please take the bike", LOL. p.s. My impression is, that in Germany are too few bike paths, which makes cycling more insecure than in Netherlands.

Fantastic capture of this great place! I love the German architecture. It's good that the mayor cares about ecology and health of citizens ... but helanker noted a good point, a very sensitive point I would say LOL By the way, if this is the Senior Mayor, what age is the "Junior"?

An excellent capture. It looks as if whoever survived his speach got rewarded with a glass of bubbly or wine or a cup of tea. I agree we need more bicycles in the world and more cycle paths.
