Description

Okay, another in my movie poster series. It made sense to follow up 1968's "Night of the Living Dead" with 1978's "Dawn of the Dead." This was a bizarre movie, sort of a melding of the shock of the 1968 classic with the shock/schlock of 1970's horror cinema. (Another good example of this is 1978's "Phantasm"-which I am thinking of doing next.) Some of the scenes in this movie are among the most disturbing and gory ever filmed. But they're tapered off with scenes of the Living Dead slipping around on an ice rink and getting pies in the face. Weird... but still a classic.

I must applaud your taste in movies - Romero's zombie trilogy rules...I can't think of many horror films of the last 15 years that come close to matching their originality and ferocity. I think your poster would look better if the pictures were not distorted (they look squashed) and the type needs sorting out (the angle of the text needs to be consistant). Phantasm would be a good film for your next project - those silver balls would look great rendered in 3D.
