Hi! My name is Ed and I am just getting back in to photography. I have been taking pictures since the late 60's but kind of stopped for almost 30 years. I took mostly point and shoot pictures for years and decided to get back into a little more hands on photography.
I just got a Nikon D5100 with a 18-55mm lens and a 70-300mm Telephoto lens. I plan on getting some filter for both and doing a little experimentation with them.
I am interested in all types of photography, but lean towards landscape and trick photography. Â I also would like to try HDR in the future.Â
I would appreciate any feed back that I can get as this will help me fine tune my skills.
Unless stated, all photos are straight from the camera with no Photoshop manipulation.

What a cute little fellow! Good job - just HOW did you get him face-on? Seeing a camera lens, animals usually turn around, or even run! (The lens looks like a huge predator eye to them). I've tried this kind of photography with my little pocket camera with the birds around where I live (crows, ravens, magpies, etc.) and they turn their backsides or fly away. Keep up the good work! :-)
