My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

Be careful, Bill! The higher they get, these folk, the further they fall.

Great shot Tara. I didn't know Bill lives this dangerously. That is a cool snapshot! I hope the insurance payments are current!

Beautiful moment from life! Excellent capture! But attention on the fall!!!!!!
Art_Ramos
That's why it's curved at the top. You think you are still climbing the ladder, but you are actually headed downward -- eventually out the door! ;-)

YIKES! Take care, man!!!! The ladder could be old and rusty !! Excellent shot. Tara :)

I like the picture. Moments in life are the best. However, I can say after my fun on the cliff this year, somewhere after 50 we don't bounce any more. We kind of crash and burn! Be careful!

Candid moment well-captured & a fine composition. I'm planning a trip to the southwest in October with a friend & plan to visit Mesa Verde National Park, which contains several pueblo dwellings that require climbs up tall ladders, so this shot is getting me revved up...

Great candid capture of Bill!!

Superb capture Tara. Good to be still fit enough to climb a corporate ladder. God Bless.

Climbing ladders to see over is good; falling off ladders is bad. Glad to see he's holding on tightly!

OMG. I admire his courage, usually with old stuff like that it gives, glad it didn't. And a great "Moment from life"

On my way up. The comments above are a hoot. That ladder was as solid as can be...imbedded in many feet of concrete and built to last. Thanks for the view I never can see for myself:)

what a smile this creates in mind and thought warm hugs, Linda Kaye

there are funny remarks here, as it's great to see bill way up, looking for a vista and making everyone scared he might fall...But it's also a good shot. He's climbing out of an 'abyss' (kind of), with all that dark stone and god-knows-what beneath; and he emerges into the light. I like that! I like the curve and all that light up there. He looks like he's looking for a place to shoot, yes. Really cool shot. And it makes me a little queasy too, looking at him holding on up there... Were you concerned at all? Or did you figure "he's indestructible"? I promise you I'd be thinking, "ok, you found a good pov, now get the hell offa that ladder!" A fun and good shot.
