Description

Hi there. This weekend I was walking through the fields with my children and a friend of my older daughter to get some plants for a homework the must do till autumn. They must collect them for a herbarium. As we walk a small path through the meadows I saw this small Orange Tip (Anthocharis cardamines) and said to the girls that I never get a chance till today to take some shots of one of this beautiful butterflies as he immediately took a seat near us. I sneak closer and get only one shot and he flew away. But what a great luck - he only flew 5-10m and sat down again. I tried to use my chances better this time and do many shots while sidled close to him. This is one of the best I get...hope you like him too. Look at his eyes - they are the same colour the underside of his backwings is.
