In the stillness of the night Aki waits by the waters edge. His elegant white and red tail swirling the black waters. The screen of the room's door opens. "Korozu?" he whispers quietly. "What kept you?" Aki asks as he slowly heaves himself out of the water, his scales sparkling in the moon light. Sitting down the monk removes his cloak and sits down only his is underclothing. "Master Seki wished to speak with me, I think he might know." Concerned the merman frowned. "What how?" "I do not know but he's been acting strange." Face faulting Aki sighed. "Maybe it was too good to be true, maybe you were right, it can't be between us." "Don't say that Aki. It can be."Korozu exclaimed "But at the risk of your life?" "It's worth it to be with you." The monk said putting a hand to Aki's face. Nuzzling into it he sighed. Smiling Korozu pulled Aki into his embrace and kissed him ever so gently upon the lips. "Aishiteru. . .Aki." Eyes widening the merman gasped, in shock from the kiss that send shivers down his spine, and the confirmation of what Aki had hoped Korozu felt about him as he did. "Really?" he whispered.
