Description
A few weeks ago I posted the photo: "Forest Cabin".
This is the spring, which is also located there. The water is safe to drink, it comes straight out of the mountain and is naturally filtered. It is always a welcome refreshing.
Thanks for viewing.

How lovely to be able to drink this untreated water. It must taste so fresh. A beautiful place.

Great! I could image the water, fresh and clear, in my mouth after a long walk, deeelicious!

Nice photo. I guess this is "normal" water and not mineral water...? We stopped somewhere in Germany and drank from something similar to that in your photo, but it was mineral water. I knew what to expect because I had drank at it before, but my poor Mother...haha...she made a face like she had just bitten into a lemon! Not exactly refreshing, but supposedly very healthy. :)

There's nothing quite like the cold water of a mountain spring. I used to drink from one at my grandparents house when I was little. What a treat! This one is displayed like the treasure they are.

We have similar springs around here (if one knows where to look) that are piped and tested yearly and free water to anyone but none are as lovely as this! My grandparents lived at the foot of the Great Smokey Mtns in East TN and never had any running water in their home. They caught rainwater and went to a nearby Church spring with a truckload of water jugs to fill with the sweetest-tasting mountain water. That spring is at the bottom of Tellico Lake as are many other springs making it very clean and great for fishing~
