Description

The Monsal Trail in Derbyshire is part of the old Midland Railway that ran between Manchester and London and partially closed in 1968 . An 11 mile section between Bakewell and just south of Buxton have now been converted into a walking /cycling ,horse riding trail and more recently the old tunnels have been opened up to allow more access . A good walk full of history
