Description
I’m hiding always in the deep
and give my tail some rest.
If I would do that in your world,
I became of human flesh.
Siren, mermaid, sea-nymph called,
I feel like every human.
A lot of shipwrecked people think,
I’m just like an illusion.
Neptune who my father is,
told: “stay with me at sea”!
We’ll there protecting all the lives,
to creatures that we see.
We’re needed in the caves below
and help as much we can.
That’s why our skin is often pale,
but sometimes it is tanned.
We follow in the world all seasons,
Around the world where storms are found
and rescue where we can the people
set their feet back on the ground
From there we swim to hiding places,
in worlds deep, far below.
The ocean is that everything,
a place we’ll never leave or go
