Description
During the invasion of North Africa by the Allies, there were some incidents when Allied planes passed through the air space of the Spanish protectorate of Morocco.
The most serious was to shoot a Heinkel 112 on a Lockheed P-38, he had to make an emergency landing with a damaged engine, in the territory of French Morocco.
There were no injuries, but there was a serious diplomatic incident.
