First I would like to thank everyone who commented on my last render, your comments were GREAT!...Here I'm trying out the use of speech bubbles in this early'er rendering I did, to see the difference...and it sure changes things...do you think so?... I'm thinking of using this in the following bot-napper story...
So if you could tell me what you think....and thanks for all your comments!!..

much like comic book fashion, one gets a clearer idea of who is saying what, I like it.

Looks great Are they going to get involved with James and crew against the Commander of the Police force?

I like it a lot. Until I get familiar with a story, sometimes I have a hard time trying to figure out who is who in the render and who is saying what. That said though, I have become familiar with your characters' names. But I still like the bubbles and I don't think it detracts from the scene at all because you are telling a story that includes a lot of dialogue. I also just think there's a good flow to it this way. Looks great, buddy!

This looks great like the bubbles very well done .. Oh and Chomper is in a cave with some reptilian aliens in A_Sunbeam's gallery lol ;-)

I think it works just fine!!! I'm really disturbed Chomper hasn't freed himself, since the girls can't find him!! Surely a robot of his Caliber could get a message out!!!

It's looking great, Dan! I think the speech bubbles really help the story - especially for a multi-panel layout. When I put a TNA page together, I use a seperate layer for the speech bubbles. The bubbles are white as you have here, and I set the layer opacity to 70%. That gives you a good background for the dialog text, and you can also see a bit of the background image through the bubble. I love how your story is coming together, Bro! It's a lot of work putting a story together, but it's FUN work! You're doing great!

Your "bubbles" look fine here. But text in or outside the images depens of different things - my stories often contains a lot of words and would cover the entire scene! But it depends a lot of kind of scene and composition - f.ex. I feel often a logo can interfer with the image and scenery in a bad way so I try to put my own naturally into the scene in some way. But in your selected style and how your tell your story it just looks fine and naturally!! Good work with this scene and characters!! I hope they find Chomper!! :o)

yess very easy to follow this way, if you do not need a lot of dialogue then the other way works best!! and Chomper ohh poor chomper!

I agree with Rod. That's what I did in my Little Red series. I suggest you go with it.
